COVID-19 PROCEDURES
During the COVID-19 global pandemic and the current UK lockdowns, Estate Agents across the country are allowed to stay open for business. This means that Pymm & Co Estate Agents Sales and Lettings will continue to book property viewings and manage your house sale through to completion in the safest way possible whilst adhering to all governement guidelines.
Our working policies are outlined below.
OFFICE POLICY
Our Sales and Lettings City Centre Offices will be locked to the general public but remain open for our staff who are happy to work in the office. Some of our members of staff are working from home with full internet and phone access.
We have PPE and sanitising stations in both offices for staff to use at all times.
Our desking has been rearranged at both offices, and with less physical staff in the offices, we are adhering to all social distancing rules.
Both our City Centre Offices are cleaned and sanitised twice weekly.
Upon viewing enquiries, we ask that only serious viewings go ahead. This means that only a buyer in a position to make an offer or has their property sold or at least on the market, rather than just seeing what is available. Customers are emailed a disclaimer to confirm prior to the viewing being booked.
PROPERTY VIEWING POLICY
Due to the current COVID-19 Global Pandemic, Pymm & Co Estate Agents and Lettings in Norwich have put strict procedures in place to protect all parties.
Please read carefully the health and safety regulation outlined by the government on 13th May 2020. These MUST be adhered to for the viewing to take place.
Facemasks must be worn at all times by both the viewing party and agent or seller.
NO viewing will take place if any party is showing symptoms of COVID-19 or has been asked to self-isolate.
NO open house viewings.
Virtual viewings should take place in the first instance and then only physically inspect properties which they have a strong interest in the property.
Accompanied physical viewings to maintain a minimum of 2 metres distance from others at all times.
If the viewing is not accompanied by the agency, both buyers and sellers clearly understand how the viewing should be conducted safely. Please ask any questions before the viewing should you not be sure.
Pymm & Co will not drive clients to appointments.
A maximum of two applicants from the same household ONLY should be present for a viewing.
All parties viewing a property should wash their hands with soap and water (or hand sanitiser if not available), with internal doors opened and surfaces having been wiped down before they enter. NO surfaces should be touched by the viewers. If the property is shown by a Pymm & Co agent, they will be wearing gloves and will open any doors for the viewers.
